Day 121

Good morning, all! I am 3 days behind, but adding 3 today so I should be all caught up. I have just been in a whirlwind of busyness.

I am still in awe of the new growth here. The maple trees are one of my favorites. They represent stability, beauty, strength and comfort all in one! I love their new waxy leaves in the spring, their fluffy huge leaves in the summer, and their reds, golds, yellows in the fall. I even enjoy raking them up as I mourn the last leaves of the year. The kids enjoy jumping into the piles.. everything's wonderful around a maple tree!

Oh how beautiful is this to see new growth! Reminds me of when our monarch butterflies first emerge into the world.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one behind, but good for you for sticking with it and getting caught back up. Last night was funny for me because I finally told my DH I was checking out for a bit to get caught up, and he knew exactly what I meant :o).
