Day 28

We found the sky! It's unbelievable how much we've missed it. Tonight there was even a pretty glow from where the sun had been.. not for very long, but it's better than nothing!

I'm getting a little tired of having to one up myself for a great picture that's better than the first. What would I be doing at day 100 or 365, maybe a trip to the moon or something. I know for a fact, I can't do that.

My friend came by tonight and told me about Sevin Sweetness blog tonight. So I read her words of wisdom from her photography class, and she really inspired me! Thank you, Amanda, for sharing what you've learned. I just shot what I saw tonight instead of looking for something.

My goal for my 365 is to find something of importance to me each day and to take a creative photo of it rather than looking for something amazing and trying to capture it. So far it's worked out well and I haven't felt too stressed out about it. I also realize that not all my pictures are going to be great...or even good, but if I can look back at the end of the year and see the progression, then I'll be happy.

I love the simplicity of this photo, Kara. The black against the color is so pretty!

For some reason this totally made me SMILE. Something about the colors. Love it, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I'm so humbled and touched to be a source of inspiration for you! I totally understand what you mean. There are days when I feel like I need to "one-up" myself, but I try not to give in to it. One of the best part of 365 is that it is yours and you can do whatever you want with it! The community I have found in fellow "Click it Up a Notch" 365ers has been wonderful and supportive. So, thank you for your inspiration Kara and keep up the awesome work!

What a great picture! I love how the clouds get darker lower behind the trees. And thanks for posting the link to the Sevin Sweetness blog; it was a good post to read!

I decided not to try and keep up with anyone but my promise to myself to take a shot a day. Cool colours behind the trees.
