Day 95

Today became the first softball game of the year. Lots of rain, then spring break, now finally a game! My oldest pitched, and it was SO cold, my fingers were numb. So I only snapped off a few of the game. Then back to my pockets I went!

Great game, these girls! 18-6, they won!

Off on the other side of the world (in another suburb far SW as I was far NW), my husband took my son to his game. Guess who had the gear in my car? Oh yeah.. they got there late, and with NO gear.

(sigh)

It was off to a rocky start for his season, but hopefully it will all come together for us soon! :)

Thank you to all of you who welcomed my friend to the 365 blogging world yesterday! You guys are awesome!

Very nice! I've been taking photos of the boys playing baseball & shooting through the fence is a pain. Did you focus manually or on auto? I found if I place my lens very close to the fence at one of the "holes" my auto focus worked better and stopped trying to focus on the fence.

Wow! With a shot like that, you didn't need to take any more than just a few. I bet she was thrilled when she saw it. BTW, I'm so impressed that your kids act and play sports. That's awesome but I bet it is hard to keep up with it all. I told my DH we couldn't have any more than the 2 kids so there would always be someone to take each one to an event even if they both had something going on at the same time.

Awesome shot! Sports photography is probably the one thing I will never really master, lol. You will have a great chance to practice now!

This turned out really great! Now I'm dying to know if she threw a strike here! LOL!

Running like a headless chicken is never any fun. I sympathize.
