Day 91

Today was just a painting kinda day. It rained all day, and we didn't do much. It was a great day to just relax! Now it was the youngest one's turn to be creative. She had a great sunset going, but this was the one I chose.. had a little fun on photoshop for something indoorsy to do. ;)

Day 91
Settings:
ISO 800, f/1.8, ss 1/20, 50 mm
converted to black/white, erased to expose the color on bottles and mug

I haven't edited a b/w photo with a color splash in a long time. This is inspiring me to do one very soon! GREAT JOB on this one Kara! :D

I really like the B&W with touch of color. I haven't done that in awhile. Now you have me thinking.

Nice pic and edit. (erase to expose) I think I will try that techniquue. I usually do it different with photoshop, but I think you have more experience on photoshop and (erase to expose) sounds much easier of the complex way I do it :-)

I also like the mikey on color.

Not sure if I can totally explain why, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shot...it so reminds me of when I was a little girl. My Mom is an artist and we had many a day of sitting and painting...

Another wonderful shot. I love your angle and use of selective color. I can almost feel what she is thinking....
