Day 87

I worked on moving targets. To capture them, to set the focus while they were moving and capture it. I needed several setting changes! Here they are with the final outcome.

Day 87
Settings:
ISO 200, f/4, ss 1/4000, 50 mm

Awesome shot! I'd say you got it figured out! From your settings, I can see that I need to up my SS speed. Like Chelsea asked, did you use the AF-servo?

I used auto focus spot. Auto focus A (for action?) I have a Sony, so that is different than a Canon. They say it different. I used Shutter priority also.
Thanks for the comments! I was actually surprised I got some really clear shots! This is SOOC so no sharpening, or color enhancing, or light levels moving.. yay!

I LOVE this! Made me smile the second I saw it. You can see the happiness on her face. Go you for getting it in focus. I always try with my daughter and I have yet to have this good of photo. You're definitely motivating me to try again! :)

Ahhh! I LOVE this! I love the action you caught; I love the spontaneity of the shot; I love the colors. I love the whole thing. It also reminds me how much I love my 50mm lens so much LOL. Great job on this!

Nicely done! I'm working at getting action shots and was doing pretty well until I switched to BBF. Kinda weird because BBF is ideal for sports, which is what I'm trying to capture.
