Day 81

Urban - and, I can't decide! Which one do you like for my 365? Most votes on this and my fb wins. :) I really don't know. I like them all for different reasons...and here they are:

1. This one because of the cobblestones. All the streets in Chicago were once covered with this, then paved over at a later time.
I always look at the old cobblestones. I just love them. Plus it just started to rain,
and I liked the look of that.

2. This one because I just thought it looked cool, but then I've done a lot of gadgety things lately.

3. This one because it just is typical Chicago. Newspaper vending machines
on every other corner.

4. This one because we pass it twice a week going downtown. It's in Greektown and I
just love the outside of it. So much character.

 5. And this one just because there's a church everywhere, it's kind of cool sticking
out among the high rise buildings.

Mine would either be 1 or 5. Having lived there, I'd say that 5 is more indicative of Chicago's high rise buildings. They are all great though! :)

My pick is 1 :) I love cobblestones too. There are still a few roads in Charleston, SC that have cobblestones. I love the character of them.

#1 is my favorite for sure. Cannot wait to go to the North End of Boston and try that shot out for myself :)

They are all great; I can see why you're having a hard time deciding...so am I! I keep going back and forth and just can't narrow it down to one as I like them all!

Oh geeze, I had to look at all of them several times before I could choose and I could only narrow it down to two, #1 & #4. I really tried to choose one but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Kara, they are all great shots, love the church one and the greek place... however, I will vote for the cobblestones because it makes me feel like I am somewhere and I get to use my imagination as to where. :) Besides, I love cobblestones. :)

Definitely the bike for me. They're all great but that one's special

I LOVE number 1. It's just such a great angle!

Yay! It's overwhelmingly #1! Thanks for all your comments. This is fun because it's the original shot I wanted, and the one I liked the best. But then just wasn't sure. Thank you!!!

Really love #1... but so hard to choose!

I was going to vote for 1 and then saw you'd already gone for it. But the last one is the sort of juxtaposition architecturally that I like.

They are all great...but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the first one!

First one.

I really like the angle of #4, and #1. They are my top two picks, but all are excellent.

I love the first one- almost looks like tilt-shift photography!
And Greektown? Never heard of it, but MMMMMMmmmm!

I'm torn between the church and the cobblestone street. Both are wonderful! You are a very talented photographer, Kara!

All of them are great shots, but I love cobblestones, so that is my favorite.
