Day 239

I have no idea what this sort of tree is, it looks like a little mini tangerine tree. :) So, if you know, please enlighten me.

I pass it almost every day, and have been so busy I couldn't stop. Today I made sure I stopped, because you never know when a tree you're not familiar with drops all it's berries!

How are you all doing in 365 land? I'm a little behind, but I'll catch up soon! Thought I'd at least post what I had today.

Inch by inch, right?

Interesting--and they do look like mini tangerines. I love that the bloggosphere has so many helpful people.

It is definitely a Rowan - Latin name Sorbus, either the American version (most likely) or the European but the leaves look like the American one :)

Our Rowans here are full of berries too, they're redder though.

So you can make good wands from it ;)

Great texture! We have a lot of mountain ash trees in the Rockies but their leaves are different. hmmm...maybe I've been calling them mountain ash and they are not! Or haven't looked close enough! You captured its berries beautifully.

I'm way behind on the project because of a computer crash.
