Day 212

Lightening storms are awesome in the midwest. I had my camera out the window for about a 1/2 hour taking everything I could possibly get. I had several cool images, but I kept coming back to this one.

I know, I'm behind...again. I'm also frustrated with blogger in that when someone asks you a question, you cannot answer back unless you go to their blog and post on their photo and it's completely unrelated. So, I will try to answer back on my posts as much as possible. It beats chasing everyone around and they might not even know what I'm talking about. So... from here on out, I will reply on the same post.

Pretty day lilies out at the lake. Last day, had to do a flower walk. And yes, Kristin, I'd love to go for a walk with you! In Indiana, I think every field, garden, grassy patch along side the road, had orange tiger lilies growing. Must be the state flower! *kidding* So it was a nice change of scenery to find these magenta colored lilies.

Pooh Bear has to be my all time favorite. I love the stories, the characters, the idiosyncrasies and all. With that said, I cannot look at a thistle and not think, Eeyore. Remember him? He was always down in the dumps, losing his tail, and loving his thistles. Here is my tribute to Eeyore today.

We had a busy day, the youngest had her science project board due, and had to display it today. I cannot stand science projects. I'm convinced it's the teacher's way of telling the parent's they loathe us. 

The day is over. Yay! We rented 3 movies, and are staying home!! Yes!
