Days 85 - 88

In my own backyard...

Today I was letting the puppy out and wishing I had a cardinal to take photos of.. not five minutes later, guess what I found??!!! Lucky me!

Days 82 and 83

We went downtown on such a beautiful day. I was kicking myself for not carrying around my camera, but I had twisted my knee so bad at the beginning of the week. I didn't want to carry anything extra, so I left it in the car. We went to the Water Tower Place, dined, shopped, had some fun... then walked outside and saw this eerie fog settling over the city. Right where we were parked, was the coolest scene of the actual water tower settled in fog behind the Looking Glass Theater. I grabbed the camera out of my car, and took some photos. The second shot is of the park behind the firehouse and theater. I loved the fog behind the mismatched branches and the gates.

Happy Spring!

I think I'm a day ahead.. since I skipped so many! :) Nevertheless....

Happy Spring!

I'm loving the budding, bright colors, an end to the drabness of winter. Hello color, there you are!

The Unthinkable!

I'm doing it.. the unthinkable! I'm skipping a few days to keep with the spring budding and accepting that I missed about a month's worth. I will go back and fill in here and there to have it full, but I'm not feeling a bit guilty about it!

We have a kid with a broken thumb, busy softball and baseball schedules regardless, continous puppy training, cheerleading and all - it's defeating my photography posts! :)

days 42 - 47

I think I can .... I think I can .... [chuggin' along!]

Anyone else have about 20 more images to put up also? It's been a little busy with the kiddos, lately trying to get some things done that have taken 1st place to photography, so that is life. And, I am fine with that.

New Puppy!! That is something that demands a lot of time lately... she is too funny. She gets in trouble and runs to the older dog. She would be shocked to know, the older one could care less if the puppy gets in trouble or not. They're really cute together. The older one is gentle, the puppy is relentless, until the older one nails her and it's settled.
      ...for about 3 seconds...
then it's on again! She also can't wait to find a willing warm body to lay on..

We also got to see a Bulls game at the United Center. My hubby is a ton of fun. He sang karaoke for the Kia Motors exhibit at the Chicago Auto Show. (nope, didn't even bother bringing my camera in there..kuh-razy busy!) He wound up with tickets to the Bulls as Joakim Noah showed up to sign autographs. Our youngest went with us that day, and she would have sang, but her dad told her no it wasn't worth it. The songs were a little questionable and that's what we didn't want our little one singing. Especially since they put it up on the internet! So.. she came over to me a bit sad, and the guy wound up giving us tickets and telling her that she had parents with good morals and that it was a very good thing. He hands her two tickets and her huge eyes welled up with tears and said, "REALLLY??!!!" Sweet... It's nice to know people still care about that morals thing! :)

Oldest went to a dance, so I sat her in front and took some photos. It was freezing that day, so she had her cute jacket on, and I loved it against her face!
